Waiting on main seals

The YZ125 C engine is ready for assembly,all 6 bearings have been replaced.
Crankshaft has been checked and all is A1.
Engine has been paint stripped and prepared for paint.
Paint will be a 2pac black semi gloss.
New engine dampers and spacers are ready for assembly.
Front forks being sent for re chrome,new seals. All tube work will be done in house including clear coating.

YZ 125C DID Rims.

Here is a set of rims removed from a yz125c, they differ from later models, the side of the rim has a rased section of about 2.5 mm. Some also had the DID logo stamped on them.

Rear engine mounts repaired and tested.

Frame Restoration.

Ok here we go.
The frame is quite good for its age.
List of repairs and checks.

1.Rear upper engine mounts broken of.Fabrication of new sections required.
This looks like a common fault.

2.Brake pedal hole wore out needs repair.

3.Side stand needs attention.(new bolt and nut and spring)

4.Foot pegs need checking for square and exsesive wear. new pegs required

5.Check all threads are not stripped or rusty(Tape and clean all)

6.Check side cover,seat rear guard bash plate and pipe for fitment.

7.Check swing arm piviot holes for correct size (new piviot bot required)

8.Check for any cracks or stress points.
